For Couples
1. About Shaadi Prep
Shaadi Prep is an online wedding-planning platform that provides tools, inspiration, and a directory of wedding suppliers ("Suppliers") to help couples ("Users") plan their weddings. We may also offer additional features such as budgeting tools, checklists, guest list management, and supplier communication channels.
We do not directly provide wedding services. Any contract for goods or services arranged through the Platform is between you and the Supplier.
2. Eligibility
To use our Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- Have the authority to agree to these Terms on your own behalf or on behalf of a company or organisation.
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
If you register on behalf of a business (e.g., as a Supplier), you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.
3. Your Account
To access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent or harmful activity.
4. Your Use of the Platform
You agree to use Shaadi Prep only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without our written consent.
- Post or transmit any material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.
- Use the Platform in a way that damages, disables, or interferes with our systems or networks.
We reserve the right to monitor activity on the Platform and remove or disable content that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
a. Your Content
When you upload, post, or share content on Shaadi Prep (including photos, reviews, or profile details), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve our Platform.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any third-party rights (e.g., copyright, trademark, privacy).
b. Our Content
All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including text, design, graphics, software, and logos, are owned or licensed by Shaadi Prep. You may not reproduce or use our materials without permission.
6. Supplier Listings and Third-Party Services
Our Platform includes listings and advertisements for Suppliers. These Suppliers are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Shaadi Prep.
We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any services, prices, availability, or conduct of Suppliers.
When you engage with a Supplier, your contract is directly with them. You are responsible for reviewing their terms, privacy policies, and credentials before entering into any agreement.
7. Payments (if applicable)
If our Platform allows you to make payments (e.g., deposits, subscriptions, or premium listings), you agree to provide accurate billing information. Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.
We are not responsible for any fees or errors imposed by those providers, or for any disputes arising between Users and Suppliers over payments or services.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without notice, if:
- You breach these Terms or any applicable law;
- You misuse the Platform or interfere with others' use; or
- We discontinue part or all of our services.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at info@shaadiprep.com. Upon termination, these Terms will continue to apply to any rights or obligations that accrued before termination.
9. Disclaimers
Shaadi Prep provides its Platform "as is" and "as available".
We make no warranties or representations about:
- The accuracy or completeness of information on the Platform;
- The reliability, quality, or availability of any Supplier; or
- The Platform being error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
Your use of the Platform and interaction with Suppliers is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shaadi Prep (and its directors, employees, and affiliates) will not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of data, revenue, or profits;
- Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in content;
- Losses resulting from your engagement with Suppliers or third parties;
- Technical issues, viruses, or system failures.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you have paid to us in the last 12 months, or (b) £100 (or equivalent in your local currency).
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shaadi Prep, its affiliates, and employees from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by posting the new Terms on our Website or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes means you accept the new Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

For Vendors
1. About ShaadiPrep
ShaadiPrep (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a wedding planning platform that connects couples with wedding suppliers specialising in Asian weddings.
2. Unclaimed Supplier Listings
2.1 We may create unclaimed supplier listings using publicly available business information (such as business name, logo, category, location, and publicly listed contact details).
2.2 Unclaimed listings are provided free of charge and are clearly labelled as "Sourced supplier".
2.3 Creating an unclaimed listing does not imply endorsement, partnership, or recommendation.
2.4 Suppliers may:
- Claim their listing to gain control over its content and appearance
- Request removal of their listing at any time
- Decline inclusion without any obligation
3. Claiming a Listing
3.1 By claiming a listing, you confirm that:
- You are authorised to represent the business
- Request removal of their listing at any time
3.2 Once claimed, you may edit your listing details and upload content.
3.3 ShaadiPrep reserves the right to verify claims of ownership where necessary.
4. Free Listing Period
4.1 Claimed and unclaimed listings may be offered a time-limited free period (e.g. 6 months).
4.2 Near the end of the free period, we may notify you of:
- The listing expiry date
- Options to continue on a paid plan
- Or allow the listing to expire
4.3 No payment details are required during the free period.
5. Images & Content Rights
5.1 Suppliers may only upload images or content they own or have permission to use.
5.2 By uploading content, you grant ShaadiPrep a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on:
- The ShaadiPrep website
- ShaadiPrep social media channels
- Marketing materials related to the platform
5.3 ShaadiPrep does not use images from supplier websites or social media without permission.
5.4 We reserve the right to remove content that infringes copyright or breaches these terms.
6. Social Media & Visibility
6.1 ShaadiPrep may include suppliers in neutral, informational social media posts, such as:
- Category spotlights
- New or featured listings
6.2 We will not represent any supplier as a “partner”, “recommended”, or “endorsed” business unless explicitly agreed.
6.3 Suppliers may request exclusion from social media features at any time.
7. Marketing Communications
7.1 Service-related communications (e.g. listing status, expiry notices) may be sent regardless of marketing preferences.
7.2 Marketing emails (e.g. promotions, upgrades, features) will only be sent where explicit consent has been given.
7.3 You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
8. Paid Plans
8.1 Paid plans provide enhanced features and visibility.
8.2 Details of pricing and features will be made available before any upgrade.
8.3 No supplier is required to upgrade to remain compliant with these terms.
9. Removal & Termination
9.1 Suppliers may request removal of their listing at any time.
9.2 ShaadiPrep may suspend or remove listings that:
- Contain misleading information
- Breach these terms
- Infringe third-party rights
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 ShaadiPrep provides the platform “as is” and does not guarantee leads, bookings, or outcomes.
10.2 We are not responsible for disputes between suppliers and couples.
11. Changes to These Terms
11.1 We may update these terms from time to time.
11.2 Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
